Hey Jon!!!!!!

Hope you get to enjoy some your time home; I know school's kinda got you tied down right now.....don't worry that time of "being graduate" really isn't much different than all the times before.....but maybe you can enjoy some time off at Camp Zion and celebrate pre-graduation!!!! There is something that I have been wanting to share with graduates that the Lord put on my heart. Well when graduation came for me in 2007 it was exciting but in a way scary!!!!! and at graduation you know you receive cards and such with encouraging words and best wishes for the world that awaits you....but there was a statement that I read on a card and the Lord took what it was saying and added to it and it was really an encouragment to me personally.....I hope it is a blessing to you as it was for me.....I don't remember the exact words so I'm sorry if I word it wrong..."Shoot for the moon but if you miss you'll still shine among the stars..." When I first saw this it took a minute to register but I finally realized what it was talking about!!! We can make goals in this life and aim after these big money-making careers and work hard towards them and still not accomplish the goals that we are persuing.....the Lord took this and spoke to me and really encouraged my heart in His own special way....well... the "shoot for the moon" this is a big goal is it not? and you can still miss it? but if you miss it "you'll still shine among the stars"... so... what I saw here was the faith that man has for me...that I can shoot and still miss all the dreams and ambitions that are set in my heart for the future.....this is what the Lord opened up my eyes to.....why stop at the moon or at the stars?........shoot farther than the moon..........past the stars..........and beyond the heavens.........right into the heart of God.........He is a big God with a big  heart........you can't miss Him.......and best of all we can do all things through Him.......so I just want to encourage you to aim for the heart of God, Jon. I promise you will never regret it.  The world doesn't offer near as good of a future as the Lord offers. It looks like a whole lot of fun but it is all vanity.All that the world offers is vain and temporary things, but the Lord offers eternal things that will bless not only you but als others for the glory of God....it may not always be easy.......but it is definitely worth the fight!!!!! I look forward to watching you grow more and more in Christ as the years pass on..!!!!!!..so.... Hope you enjoy your time at home and I hope to see you and your family in July!!!!!!!!!TTYL!!!!!!!

Hey Jon!!!!!!!!!

Well....I'll tell you like I told Leah.....you may miss teaching VBS.....but I would love to be able to get up there like y'all do and sing and play instruments for the Lord as well as y'all do and travel the states....that's the real life ...well in my eyes anyway!!!!!!! I guess it's no big deal for y'all to get up infront of crowds and sing becuase you've been doin' that your whole life..but...me and Andrew both are amazed to see how yall get up there and aren't nervous or anything....well not that we could see!!! Oh, hahaha and everytime I bring up something about your family Andrew always starts talking about how "your da man" at playing all those instruments and singing and stuff without being afraid....in a way he looks up to you...I thought that was kida cool and I thought you might appreciate hearing that an older guy is looking up to you and admiring how you serve the Lord without any fear...I believe that the Lord has big plans for Andrew...Anyway,I did enjoy VBS though and I'm glad that the Lord allowed me to have the privilege of sharing the truth of God's Word with those kids...I had a blast!!!!

Ohh.....got a quick question....okay just say Leah leaves a comment on my page and after I read it there is a "reply" thing...if I click "reply" and submit it, the reply that I just typed shows up on my same page under MY comments but does it actaully get sent to HER site as a message? Sorry, I usually don't have a problem figuring computers out but this xanga page is really trippin' me out!!(LOL) Okay....well hope you have fun traveling.....keep on playing for Jesus!!TTYL!!!!!!!

Hey Man Glad to hear ya'll are doing great. I have a praise report I have lost 26 pounds. YEA!!! PRAISE THE LORD!! Um we are doing great over here i am geting ready for college and i here you are to. I am going to pobably go to ether librty or Lee university in teneece. for give the grammar I am so exsited. thats all. I will be going into music. I want to be a Christian Artist. I beleive that is what God wants me to do. My mom said go with your dream frist then if God dosn't want you to do that then you know what to do then. I prayed and prayed about this for a while till I came acrossed this Verse in Psalms 138:8 it says The Lord will prefect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, oh Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. That verse spoke to me like you never would have know and I studyed it through comemtarys and my Bible and My Best Friend and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And it says that God cares about our dreams he wants us to talk to him about them. I talked to him pray to him had time with him. I am still trying to read more of my Bible I do but not like i want to. But I have gotton better. I try to read a Chapter a day. But anyway.. I wish to serve him in muisc and sing to others out there. And being a Christian Artist is doing it to. cause Avalon, Jody Mcbrayer, David Phelps, and others I like ministered to me. And I thought for a moment I can do the same. And I prayed to the Lord to guide My path through this time and thats what I am doing hope to hear from you soon. Love Your Bro in Christ Trent

Hey Man, Trent again. Um it sure has been a long time... Man time dose fly. I just Turned 18 back in march and I am geting read to drive man. AWESOME!! What really makes me happy is that I have lost 26 pounds What am I doing tell you this...Sorry man. I have never felt better about myself. I thank My Lord and Savior Best Friend Jesus for helping me through this whole weight thing. Man I hope I will get to see you guys again. But I will tell you I used to be lazy in many ways. I went thro so much in my life that it got in the way of what God wants me to do. So one day I was praying asking the Lord what am I to do with my weight, my friends and the rest of my life. "what do you want me to do Lord".... then it was like I new what to do. And Jesus has blessed me more and more thro this whole thing. So..                I have taken more initiative in my life. Oh! I will soon be testing for my Purple belt in Karate! How bout that. And my sister will be testing not to long for her Black  Belt. Yeah I know. She has been doing alot for her Lord and Savior over these past few years.
